UYLA applauds Oborevwori Over Approval Of Multi-Billion Naira Projects
The Urhobo Youth Leaders’ Association (UYLA) has applauded the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori over the approval of several multi-billion naira road construction and rehabilitation projects, as well as a N6.7 billion counterpart fund for the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) grant.
UYLA’s National President, Olorogun (Amb) Samuel Onoriode Oghotomo (JP) and National Secretary, Olorogun (Dr) Augustine Ogheneovo Atiti described the Gov Oborevwori’s gesture as commendable aimed at improving infrastructure and boosting economic activities in Delta State, aligning with the governor’s M.O.R.E. Agenda.
UYLA expressed gratitude to Gov Oborevwori for the projects approved in Urhoboland including: Eku-Osubi Road, Amai-Aragba Road, Arho Road by Heroes of Faith, Ughelli, Re-award of Imohwe Street, Ekiugbo-Ughelli, Rehabilitation/asphalt overlay of Ekpan/Oviorie/Ovu-Inland/Okpara-Inland/Isiokolo/Kokori Road, Overflow Avenue in Amukpe, New Tankers’ Park at Niger Cat, Ekpan, Chief Wellington Oyibo Community Road in Mosogar and Supply and installation of workshop tools and equipment at Model Technical College, Oghara-Efe.
UYLA therefore urged for continuous support for Gov Oborevwori’s administration, acknowledging the efforts made so far in improving infrastructure and promoting development in Delta State, particularly in Urhoboland.
